WHO WE ARE:  Athletic Kids Association is a non-profit youth sports organization in San Diego.  Our goal is to promote healthy, active, positive lifestyles to kids ages 5 – 12 by providing youth athletic programs to our community.  

OUR VISION:  Our future home will be a state-of-the-art Sports Complex that will accommodate all sports and tournaments for youth athletes.  Athletic Kids Association will continue to build a strong foundation of young, healthy leaders by providing the opportunity for youth athletes to take their game to the next level.  

OUR GOALS:  We will create organized recreational and competitive teams that will be given the opportunity to participate in leagues and tournaments both locally and nationwide.  Our goals are to promote healthy, active lifestyles through sports.

OUR MISSION: Athletic Kids Association is committed to Building Young Leaders Through Athletics.

Athletic Kids Association was founded in 2006.  As a new organization, we are continually adding more sport programs.  Our athletic programs keep children in school, active in sports, off the streets, and away from drugs.   The following are programs currently being offered:

Competitive Basketball Team – Rebels  (8U, 10U, 11U)

BASEBALL

Competitive Baseball Team – San Diego Senators (10U)  Competitive Baseball Club aka "San Diego Senators" Baseball Organization is dedicated to providing young baseball players the opportunity to fully enhance their skills and potential in a competitive program. In order to achieve this goal, the San Diego Senators are committed to identifying motivated players who exhibit the desire and talent to excel, and then providing these players with year-round professional coaching. The San Diego Senators Baseball Organization seeks to maximize each player's development by offering competition against the best youth baseball teams in Southern California and by emphasizing skill development with consistent practice and hard work. 

ON SITE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM  This is a non-competitive program created to bring recreational sports to the children, making it convenient for both parents and children in elementary school.  Currently offered at Green Elementary & Dailard Elementary.  Sports include:  Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, and Cheerleading, Polynesian Dancing and more.

SPONSORSHIP  Sponsors can help us achieve our goal by monetary donations or by supplying needed supplies such as uniforms, sporting gear, equipment, facility, advertising, promotions, and product/service donations.  All monetary donations will go towards all our youth sport programs and/or our future sports complex.  All donations are tax deductible.  Athletic Kids Association is a 501c3 organization.  

High School Mentorship Program  This is an opportunity for high school students to mentor young kids to become leaders through athletics.  Mentors must demonstrate leadership and athletic skills as well as maintain a GPA of 2.5 and above.

 AKA STAFF  Our staff are all CPR and First Aid certified. All coaches are kid tested and have experience in the sport.  A background check is conducted in order to work with Athletic Kids Association.   The quality and safety of the youth is first and foremost and is carried out by all staff at all times.   Every sport includes an experienced coach.
